Start with the Avocado Bomb at Sushi Cafe

January 6, 2017 2:31 pm

Deep-fried avocados overflowing with crab meat and spicy tuna, arranged atop a bed of greens and drizzled with the house's special sauce. It's no wonder that this dish, called the Avocado Bomb, is one of the most popular ways to start a meal at Arlington's Sushi Cafe. The Ahi Tower is another beloved appetizer, a light starter that features enough fresh ahi tuna to feed the table.

Don't fill up on appetizers, though, because Sushi Cafe offers a slew of classic and specialty sushi and sashimi to suit all tastes. Here you'll find specialty creations crafted with shrimp tempura, crab meat, and avocado inside and topped with sauces like the spicy cream sauce, the eel sauce, and the spicy mayo. Explore the large array of other specialty sushi rolls, and maybe opt for a roll without the rice, like the Butterfly Kiss. It consists of crab meat and salmon crowned with flying fish eggs and ponzu sauce. Be sure to stop by Sushi Cafe this week to sample a variety of the restaurant's inventive fare!
